Federal Tax Credits up to $1,500 until 2010
 Great
News, on February 17, 2009, The American Recovery
and Reinvestment Act of 2009 was signed. The changes
in this Act provide more tax savings than before (up to
30%).
This applies to Insulation,
Radiant Barrier Foil, Replacement 3030 Windows, and Attic
Tent.

Tax Credit Changes
-
- The
tax credits have been extended to 2010 as
well.
-
The tax credit has been raised from
10% to 30%.
- The
maximum credit has been raised from $500 to
$1500 for two years (2009–2010).

Important Information About The Tax Credit:

- The product
must be placed in service between
Jan 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010
-
Even
with the Installation Costs not being
included, on an average 2000 sq. ft home
after we install an additional 12 inches of
insulation, your tax credit will
approximately be between $250 - $400.

How To Take Your Attic Insulation Tax Credit:

- Save
a copy of the
Certification Statement
with your tax records. You do not need to
send a copy with your IRS Tax Return.
- Improvements made in 2009 will be claimed on
your 2009 taxes (filed by April 15, 2010) —
use
IRS
Tax Form 5695
(2009 version) — it will be available late
2009 or early 2010
- We
will provide you with the Certification
Statement form after the installation if you
are unable to access it via the web.
