INSULATION

We offer Fiberglass Insulation
(blown-in or batt) and Urethane Spray Foam.
An easy and
cost-effective method for making your property more energy
efficient. Reason, most homes are below the
recommended R-49 value for insulation. Our blown-in
fiberglass or foam insulation reduces the amount of heat entering
your home through the attic and helps to keep the cold air
out during the freezing winter months.
U.S. Dept of Energy
recommends 18 inches of insulation in your attic.
See chart for the recommended amount in your area. |

RADIANT
BARRIER

We offer Radiant Barrier Foil
and Radiant Barrier Spray.
1) Radiant Barrier Foil -
blocks up to 97% of the
radiant heat entering your home. We typically install
this on the the underside of the roof deck. We can
also install this on your garage door and other areas where
your home might be experiencing a lot of heat gain/loss such
as around your water heater, etc. Once installed on
your home or business, this product
qualifies for the 30% Federal Credit up to $1500.00.
2) Radiant Barrier Spray -
for a smaller initial investment we install radiant
barrier spray in place of our Radiant Barrier foil.
The spray we install has an E-value of .25 to .21(Emissivity
rating closer to Zero
the better). This is the lowest E-value offered in the
market today.
Radiant Heat is one if not
the greatest source of heat that our homes in DFW
experience. For More information about each one please view our
Radiant Barrier page. |

ATTIC VENTILATION

This is often the most
overlooked area in energy efficiency. More than 75% of
the attics in DFW homes are under ventilated. Is this
the case in your home?
We apply calculations
generated from the U.S. Dept. of Energy to determine how
many soffit vents and/or exhaust vents you need in your
home.
Not only is
ventilation important
to keep the radiant heat from entering your home it is also
important to push it away through proper ventilation.
We can help your attic operate more efficiently with the
installation of additional soffit vents, ridge vents, low
profile vents, or a combination. |

ATTIC TENT

A simple & inexpensive solution
to reduce air loss in your home.
The Attic Tent is a specially engineered,
patented insulator designed to create an air transfer
barrier between your attic and living areas. It is a
practical and economical solution to a problem that has
existed since homes were first built with overhead attic
entries. That problem is wasted energy through and around
the attic door and stairs. |

SOLAR
SCREENS

Our screens
block up to 90% of the sun's rays.
This is the most inexpensive way
to reduce the radiant heat entering your home through your
windows. Our screens are custom made with or without
grid work to fit each one of your windows. Are
customers like the fact that we use metal corners instead of
those plastic ones that fade away.
We also install patio shades and
bug screens.
NOTE: If you are wanting
to save energy throughout the year we recommend having us
install our Energy Smart System which includes added
insulation radiant barrier, attic ventilation. Another
option to consider would be the retrofit of your existing
windows with our 3030 Vinyl Replacement windows. See
our windows link for more information on our replacement
windows. |
