U.S. Dept of Energy recommends 18
inches of insulation in your attic.
See
chart for the recommended amount in
your area.

We offer Fiberglass Insulation
(blown-in or batt) and Urethane Spray Foam insulation. We can
also remove your existing insulation if needed.
Insulation offers an easy and
cost-effective method for making your property more energy
efficient. Reason, most homes are below the
recommended R-49 value for insulation. Our blown-in
fiberglass or foam insulation reduces the amount of heat entering
your home through the attic and helps to keep the cold air
out during the freezing winter months.

We install CertainTeed fiberglass loose
fill and batt insulation alone or in combination with
Radiant Barrier and additional
Attic Ventilation (where
needed) to create our Energy Smart
System.

Urethane Open and Closed Cell Foam Insulation
This type of insulation requires a larger investment to
install than fiberglass.
Spray-applied as a liquid, it expands
within seconds to 120 times its volume to fill every nook
and cranny providing superior energy efficiency and improved
indoor air quality by eliminating air movement through
walls. A 6 inch depth of open cell spray foam is equal
to an R-23 Value.
It reduces airborne noise and dust making
it the healthy choice for those who suffer from allergies,
asthma or chemical sensitivity. |

If you are like most homeowners living in the
Greater Dallas area,
your attic is most likely below the recommended value of R-49 (18
inches) given by the U.S. Dept. of Energy. In
fact, you may be like this customer
above with only 6 - 8 inches
equating to only 33% of the needed amount. By adding more attic
insulation, we can help you reduce your energy
bills.
If used in tandem with
our Radiant Barrier and
Attic Ventilation and services you will
experience even greater savings and added comfort.

Long-Term
Savings Tip
One of the most cost-effective ways to make your home more
comfortable year-round is to add insulation to your attic.
Adding insulation to the attic
is relatively easy and very cost effective. To find out if you have
enough attic insulation, measure the thickness of the insulation. If
it is less than R-30 (11 inches of fiber glass), you could probably benefit by adding more.
Most U.S. homes should have between R-30 and R-60 insulation in the
attic. Don't forget the attic trap or access door. |
